I gave a talk about my research for my colleagues in the Language and Communication Centre, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, on Aug 16, 2023.
I talked about my research on food, media, and culture, specifically my first interest in celebrity chefs and cooking shows. I ended with a highlight of my latest research on Singapore media and novel foods. The main focus though was equipping my colleagues on ways that they too can carry out a qualitative discourse analysis of food media.
